and speaking of Matt Murtagh – here’s a beautiful set of images he took at the event with one shown below to tempt you (featuring headline band, The Cracked Actors who, it has to be said, rocked the joint!).

One of the characteristics of Project X is that we stretch ourselves and try and achieve an awful lot at the same time. This tends to mean that not everything works all the time (tho thankfully most things do!). At least we know this means we are pushing ourselves.

One thing that unfortunately didnt come together (due to technical issues and time constraints) for Xhibition was the printing of Matt Murtaghs photography piece – which was particularly disappointing as he had produced it specially for our event.

However, its a fine piece of work and will hopefully have a life long beyond this moment in time.

It takes the form of a photographic panorama of Moseley Village and it can be seen here in, as Matt puts it “full Google Maps wrap-around-o-vision (with zooming!)”.

Thank you to everyone who came along to, took part, helped put on and enjoyed X-LAB:VL on Friday at Concrete. A successful night if eye witness reports are to be believed. I have to make do with the photos for now which you can find here:
