Why doesn't www.projectxpresents.com itself appear on the first few pages of a google search for X-LAB:VL?

As regular listeners will know, I'm quite obsessed by such things.

I'm delighted that Project X Presents appears to be the only people in the world to use the name X-LAB:VL but a bit perplexed as to why our own website advertising our own event on 22nd February at Concrete (formerly The Boiler Room, The Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, UK - check NEXT PROJECT above) doesn't come up on the first page of hits.

Lots of the people I sent the press release to the other week have listed the event: Fused Magazine, 7 inch Cinema, What's On In Brum, Birminghammusic.com, Don't Stay In (nice one Marc!) etc etc - all the usual suspects, who we thank as always - but PXP.com itself is abscent from that all important first page.

...stop writing blog entries and send out another appeal for people to help out on the door. At the moment it looks as though everyone will be getting in for free after 10pm as no one has stepped up to help me out taking the cash.

...stop looking into the uniqueness of the name Object X versus Object X Presents and work on those briefing notes for ace photographer Matt Murtagh to do some more work on the collage images to publicise the next show - June 2008 if yr interested.
